Which documents are supported for Identity Verification?

Supported Documents

North American (United States, Canada, and Mexico):

• Driver's License/REAL ID
• Passport
• Non-driver state identity card
• US Military ID*

*Certain US Military IDs cannot be supported due to a lack of information shown on the ID that our system needs to compare with their records

International:

• International passport card
• Trusted traveler card
• Permanent resident card
• Passport booklet, visa
• Matrícula Consular

What if I don’t have a supported ID, or my ID was stolen?
CertifID Match requires the authentication of an identity card issued by a government agency against which our data can perform the required checks. If you don’t have one due to loss or theft:

• Contact your title agent, attorney, or closing agent.
• They can guide you through alternative identity validation options using CertifID’s tools, such as Confirm or Collect requests.
