Granting Permission to Use Your Device’s Camera

To grant permission to your camera, see the section for your device below:

For iPhone:

  1. From your home screen, open Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security.
  3. Tap Camera.
  4. Tap to turn on the toggle for the web browser you are using to verify your identity if this was not already enabled.

To change Camera access in Safari:

  1. From your home screen, open Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Apps.
  3. Scroll down and tap Safari.
  4. Scroll down past the "Settings For Websites" section and tap Camera.
  5. Select "Ask" or "Allow" for completing this process.
  6. Go back to the browser where you started your identity verification process. Refresh the window.

For Android:

  1. On your Android device, go to the home page and tap Settings.

  2. Tap Apps & notifications.

  3. Tap the icon for the web browser you are using.

  4. Tap Permissions.

  5. Turn on permissions for the camera.

  6. Return to the web page and refresh the screen to try to take a selfie.
