If you're using a trust account, there is an additional step to ensure that you are entering in all of the banking information correctly.
NOTE: This article focuses mainly on trust accounts that require "Further Credit To", where two financial institutions may be involved.
When you receive a request to submit your banking information:
Step 1: Enter Trust Information
- Enter the Routing Number that you were provided
- Select Account type from the drop down menu
- Select the checkbox for This is a trust
- Enter Trust account holder
- May also be referred to as "For Credit To"
- NOTE: Trust name must match bank account
- Enter Account number provided for the trust account
- Confirm Account number
- Enter Account billing address
- NOTE: This address should be the address that is on file with the bank account. This is NOT asking for the actual bank's address.
Step 2: Enter Final Credit To Information
- After entering in the above information, Select Add final credit to
- Enter Account holder information
- NOTE: This is the name of the account holder for the account where the funds will ultimately be deposited into
- May be referred to as "For Final Credit To", "For Further Credit To", or "For the Benefit Of"
- Enter Account number
- Confirm Account number
